Admission to Windsor Castle
Wonderful visit
We bought tickets online the day before our visit but missed the part that said we need to print out the tickets. After standing in line for about 20 minutes we were told that we couldn't get in unless we had printed documents. the gal was lovely but suggested we walk down the street to have them printed and then return directly to her. It seems to me in this day and age this should not be a problem.
Otherwise our visit was absolutely delightful. This should be on everyone's list of things to see while in London.

Waste of time prepaying
I was under the impression prepaying for admission ticket meant we wouldn't have to queue for as long. But everyone was put in the same 1 queue, paid & non paid. We were told several times prepaid clients would be pulled out of queue to gain entry but this different happen. Instead we queued for 2 hours. Everyone was saying the same thing 'what was the point of prepaying'
The castle however was wonderful!

Great Value
For what you pay you get a lot. If you were to listen and take in all the audio commentary it would take, we were told 4.5 hours. Walking around slowly it took us more like 2.5, but in that time you see amazing splendour, history and art. Windsor Castle is most definitely worth a visit. Rich in all that British history has to offer.
